Paloma Decorative Plate

The Paloma collection celebrates the art of the Olinalá lacquer plate, one of Mexico's most refined folk-art traditions. Each large wooden plate is built up in layers of lacquer and then painted and etched freehand, filling the surface with birds, flowers and creatures that seem to move in rhythm. Choose the original doves and blossoms in soft beige, a cream design with hidden cats among the flowers, or an airy gray peacock garden.

Hang one as wall art, display it on a stand on a sideboard or mantel, or group several styles for a gallery wall with real presence. A collector's piece and an exceptional gift for a new home or a special celebration.

To keep your Olinalá lacquer piece looking its best, we recommend:
- Dust with a soft, dry cloth; wipe marks with a barely damp cloth and dry right away.
- Keep away from direct sun, heat and humidity, which can dull or crack the lacquer.
- Avoid water, alcohol, perfume and cleaning products.
- Use a liner under glasses or food; never place hot items on the surface.
- Store wrapped in soft fabric.
